The Analyst Programmer is responsible for programming and analysis of projects assigned by the Manager of Business Applications.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Leads fact finding to develop and/or modify information systems or test plans as assigned, able to set up test data, perform unit/development testing and participate in the user testing process.  When errors are discovered, initiates corrective action.
  • Leads or develops program specifications including database design, program specifications and process flowcharts.
  • Designs, codes, tests and debugs programs or test process according to procedures.
  • Prepares and maintains programs documentation for own programs.
  • Trains users on new and modified software or related hardware.
  • Assists with Database Administrator functions.
  • Resolve or refer customer issues in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards applicable to assigned responsibilities.
  • Writes SQL queries and publishes reports from various data bases and platforms.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

We need someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience is required. 
  • Two years of experience developing client server or browser-based applications, utilizing an Oracle or SQL Server data base is also required. 
  • Prior experience with 3 or more of the following languages or technologies: VB, ASP, ColdFusion, DTS, PL/SQL, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Crystal Enterprise or database administration.
