In this role, you’ll:
- Interviews and surveys employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.
- Assesses jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
- Designs and maintain employer base compensation plans and programs.
- Develops and administer job architecture process.
- Participates in external surveys on base pay, pay practices and variable compensation programs.
- Benchmarks jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
- Prepares and maintains salary classifications and salary grades.
- Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
- Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
- Evaluates and implements job analysis instruments and materials.
- Provide 403(b) plan administrative support
- Assist with wellness programs and initiatives.
- Complete additional essential duties as assigned
We need someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years experience as a Compensation Analyst
- Proficient in data analysis, especially using Excel (including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
- Strong understanding of compensation policies, practices, and principles
- Experience with current and robust HRIS software; ADP highly desirable
- Proficient in Compensation Software Systems, Payscale, Payfactors, Salary.com preferred.
- Pay equity analysis and compensation modeling experience.
- Report Writing Skills.
- Extensive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods.
- Familiarity with broad banding and job architecture/hierarchy
- Working knowledge of regression analysis and statistical modeling
- Solid financial acumen and ability to interpret complex data
- Expertise in database management and compensation systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and analytical mindset
- Understanding of relevant compensation laws and regulations
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism
