The Regional Manager of Donor Recruitment position is responsible for managing the staff and activities related to blood donations through group-sponsored blood drives.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Directs the activities of Donor Recruitment Coordinators to ensure recruitment and drive efficiency goals are met.
  • Monitors performance and provides reports to management regarding same.
  • Reviews, creates and/or implements effective recruitment strategy for territories assigned to the team.
  • Assists in development of marketing strategy.
  • Actively supports department initiatives and programs.
  • Enforce The Blood Center's policies on EEO, Affirmative Action and Safety/Health.
  • All duties as assigned.

We need someone who has:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  MBA strongly preferred.  Experience must include minimum of 5 years in a progressively responsible management position, preferably in the area of sales, or recruitment

Ability to define realistic, specific goals and objectives and to prioritize objectives; start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency; use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis of the problem and evaluation of alternative solutions.

Ability to develop unique and novel solutions to problems; use intuition and a new way of thinking to create new ideas; present information in an attention getting and interesting manner.

LEADERSHIP/MOTIVATIONAL ABILITY

Ability to work with people in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; create positive energy (motivation) in both individuals and groups; communicate with others in a warm and helpful manner while simultaneously building credibility and rapport; influence the actions and opinions of others in a desired direction; exhibit judgment in leading others to worthwhile objectives.

Computer Literate:  Microsoft Office, BECS (blood established computer software), Business Objects
