Are you a creative student who loves to write, design, and connect with people in the community? Gulf Coast Blood is looking for a Content Creator Intern to join our Marketing team for Summer 2026.
This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, campaign planning, and digital storytelling while supporting our mission to save lives through blood donation. You will collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing professionals to develop meaningful and engaging content across multiple platforms.

In this role, you will:
- Develop compelling written and visual content that strengthens donor engagement and brand storytelling.
- Write clear, persuasive copy across platforms — social, web, and email — tailored to different audiences.
- Design visually consistent assets that align with Gulf Coast Blood’s brand identity and tone.
- Build a professional content portfolio that demonstrates creativity, clarity, and strategic thinking.
- Produce short-form and long-form content aligned with campaign goals.
- Write social posts, donor stories, blog articles, and micro-campaign captions.
- Develop visual assets for awareness days and year-round donor education.
- Collaborate with UX and AI Video interns to unify brand voice and storytelling.
- Adheres to Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's policies on EEO and Safety/Health.
- Additional duties assigned.
We need someone who has:
- Strong writing and visual storytelling skills.
- Experience with Canva, Cap Cut, Adobe Express, or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Familiarity with social media algorithms and trending formats (Reels, TikTok, Stories)
- Ability to write for both emotional and informational tones.
- Basic understanding of SEO and content analytics.
- Interest in learning how AI enhances content creation, editing, and campaign insights.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or related program at an accredited college or university.
