Position Title: LMS Systems Administrator

This position is responsible for administering LMS, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, configuration, upgrades, validation, testing and implementation of new features. The LMS Systems Administrator will also back up the Training Compliance and LMS Administrator as needed and assist with technical issues related to LMS training items.

In this role, you will:

System Administration and Optimization

  • Manage and maintain the LMS, including system configurations, integrations, upgrades, and patches.
  • Administer user accounts, roles, and permissions for employees, volunteers, contractors, etc.
  • Monitor system use, to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Troubleshoots technical issues and serves as the primary contact for contracts, support, and system integrations.
  • Work with software vendors and our IT department to resolve technical issues.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement system enhancements and new features.
  • Maintains training records and supports audits or inspections as needed.
  • Generate reports for departments and leadership as needed.
  • Ensure the LMS complies with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Stay current on LMS trends, tools, and best practices to recommend system improvements.

Content and Course Management

  • Manages procurement, integration, and contract maintenance for external e-learning content.
  • Assists with implementing e-learning courses, LMS classes, task checklists or assessments.

User Support and Training

  • Provides technical support and training for LMS users, including employees, instructors, and administrators.
  • Develops user guides, FAQs, and training materials to enhance system adoption and proficiency.
  • Responds to user feedback to improve LMS functionality and the learning experience.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

We need someone who has:

  • 3 years experience administering an LMS. SuccessFactors administration with experience in IAS/IP and BizX preferred.
  • Exceptional written and interpersonal skills 
  • Accomplished user of Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver
  • Accomplished user of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage projects using the ADDIE model and AGILE development process

We prefer:

  • Experience developing projects using Adobe Flash, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition, FrameMaker, Captivate, Visual Communicator, InDesign
  • Experience using Microsoft Access, Excel, Visio
  • Rapid e-learning development using Articulate
  • Experience writing scripts using ActionScript 2.0 and 3.0, JavaScript, ASP, PHP, Coldfusion, HTML5, CSS3, XML
  • Photography and video production
