Position Title: Marketing Content Creator

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Content Creator is responsible for developing and executing content across various marketing channels to enhance Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's internal and public image and awareness. This role emphasizes broader content creation to support marketing initiatives.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to plan and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns, focusing on traditional and digital platforms, including evaluation and reporting.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for various platforms such as social media, blogs, emails, newsletters, and other marketing channels to foster audience interaction and enhance brand presence.
  • Capture and create dynamic multimedia content to support campaign objectives across all digital platforms. This includes video production and real-time content creation coverage.
  • Act as the spokesperson for Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center, presenting consistent and professional image content across all marketing channels.
  •  Engage with online communities and respond to followers to build relationships, foster brand loyalty, and enhance user engagement.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in content creation, social media tools, and applications to leverage new opportunities in digital marketing.
  • Implement best practices and utilize analytics tools to measure content effectiveness and refine marketing strategies.
  • Uphold and promote the integrity of Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's brand across all content and marketing efforts, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand message.
  • Create compelling graphics and visual content to complement textual content and enhance the visual appeal of marketing materials.
  • Oversee content-related projects from conception to delivery, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are delivered on schedule.
  • Enforces Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's policies on EEO and Safety/Health.
  • Additional duties as assigned. 

 

We need someone who has:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in marketing, communication, public relations or a related field; and a minimum of two years related experience.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and acceptable driving record.  Must have reliable transportation to transport self to various donor and group sites.
  • Computer Literate: Desktop Publishing, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Must be able to work irregular hours and days as needed, including some nights and weekends.
  • Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize own work.
