Position Title: Marketing Intern (Paid Internship)
Duration: 10 Weeks Paid Internship (June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025)
Hours: Part Time to Full Time Options (20 to 40 hours a week)

Are you ready to gain hands-on marketing experience while making a life-saving impact? Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is looking for a passionate and creative Marketing Intern to join our team! This is your chance to develop and execute compelling content across multiple channels while supporting marketing initiatives that help save lives.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager and collaborating with the broader marketing team, the Marketing Intern is responsible for developing and executing content across various marketing channels and offering support to marketing initiatives. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including digital marketing, content creation, social media posting and management and campaign management while learning and contributing to the mission of Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center.

In this role, you will:
- Develop and curate engaging content for various platforms such as social media, blogs, emails, newsletters, and other marketing channels to foster audience interaction and enhance brand presence.
- Capture and create dynamic multimedia content to support campaign objectives across all digital platforms. This includes video production and real-time content creation coverage.
- Engage with online communities and respond to followers to build relationships, foster brand loyalty, and enhance user engagement.
- Research and communicate the latest trends in content creation, social media tools, and applications to leverage new opportunities in digital marketing.
- Assist in producing short-form video content for social media, including editing and optimizing videos for engagement and reach.
- Uphold and promote the integrity of Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's brand across all content and marketing efforts, ensuring a consistent and impactful brand message.
- Create compelling graphics and visual content to complement textual content and enhance the visual appeal of marketing materials.
- Adheres to Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center's policies on EEO and Safety/Health.
We need someone who has:
- Actively enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university with a major in marketing, communication, public relations, or a related field. Prior work/internship experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge and experience with graphic design tools, such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with video content creation, using editing software like Adobe Premiere, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Must have reliable transportation to transport self to various donor and group sites.
- Attention to detail, accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize own work
