Reporting to the PMO Manager, this position is responsible for managing multiple related projects that span organizational divisions. The ideal candidate will analyze organizational domains, business processes and systems to support the best use of project implementation strategies and technology architecture, tools, or software applications for project success.

In this role, you will:

  • Manages multiple concurrent enterprise-wide projects of varying complexities in accordance with current procedures and methodology as assigned. 
  • Works with department leadership and stakeholders to document or develop project scope, goals, and deliverables, including project dependencies, project plans, budget proposals, communications plan, project timeline and milestones.
  • Coordinates project team activities and interfaces with associated department personnel to include scheduling meeting times and locations, taking meeting minutes or notes, developing presentations.
  • Conducts stage-gate activities that ensures meaningful review points with decision-makers.
  • Identifies stakeholders, document requirements and specifications associated with project assignments.
  • Perform business analysis relevant to projects including but not limited to monitoring cost, schedules, performance, risks, and issues and report the status of ongoing projects to the PMO Manager and change control group.
  • Gather intelligence from stakeholders to support data analysis.
  • Evaluate, test and recommend scenarios for achieving initiatives and solving problems.
  • Evaluate and draw conclusions from data related to customer behavior.
  •  Design and monitor end-user reporting tools and systems, ensuring reports are accurate and up-to-date and that data/reports meet users’ needs.
  •  Utilize Gantt charting and additional tools to support the planning, coordination and visualization of project milestones and deadlines. 
  • Execute various project management methodologies such as waterfall, scrum, six sigma and agile to meet project execution demands.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards applicable to assigned responsibilities.

We need someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Project Management, Business Administration, or Life Sciences. 
  • Minimum of two years’ work experience related to Project Management and two years related to business analysis.  Experience within a blood or tissue center or blood bank, or healthcare-related industry strongly preferred.
  • IT systems analysis, programming and implementation is required. 
  • The ability to interact professionally and politely with others.
  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) through Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • \Proficiency in project and portfolio management and analysis tools
  • Proficiency in resource/capacity planning activities and associated software
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including experience driving projects and leading project teams through the entire project lifecycle.
