Position Title: Scheduling Coordinator

Are you ready to propel your career to the next level?  As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will be responsible for the allocation of donor collection staff to appropriate collection sites assignment of necessary resources cost efficient manner utilizing the computerized scheduling program.

In this role, you’ll

  • Create and maintain the Donor Collection work schedule, through coordination with staff in Donor Recruitment.
  • Enter into the computer, all pertinent data about staff, the sites, and the tasks to be done.
  • Make necessary adjustments to schedule when changes occur to maintain a steady workload across sites.
  • Examine assignments that were suggested by computerized schedule program and make necessary adjustments.
  • Print out reports daily, weekly, and monthly as needed by department manager.
  • Handle any problems and situations that might occur at the mobile sites during regular office hours.
  • Notify Manager of any unusual problems that occur when dealing with the schedule.
  • Provide on a daily basis, an updated schedule for the Supervisor on Call.

We need someone who has:

High school Diploma or GED and minimum one-year previous job-related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

We prefer

  • Computer Literate:  BECS (blood established computer software), Donor ID, Microsoft Office, MobileSched or other scheduling software
  • Ability to work on-call (every other week).
  • Excellent internal customer service skills.
  • Type 40 wpm
  • Spreadsheets
