The System Analyst is responsible for performing software testing, configuration, validation, training, and support of the enterprise software and computer systems.

A systems analyst is familiar with computer systems, programming, technical architectures, and platforms. With their expertise in Information Technology (IT) along with their knowledge of the business, and their analyzation skills, System Analyst play a vital role in implementing new IT solutions or improve existing ones.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Analyze software upgrades and patches to develop comprehensive test cases to validate that the change is functioning as expected and/or meet the requested user requirements.
  • Analyze software upgrades and patches to ensure (risk analysis) the change will not have a negative impact on company’s software enhancements.
  • Execute test cases and complete all required supporting documentation per SOPs.
  • Assist in reviewing, developing, and training SOPs.
  • Assist with new equipment installations and user training, as needed.
  • Assist with keeping the training, validation, and similar environments up-to-date and current (tables are updated, valid donor, test and product information is present).
  • Act as the primary Help Desk contact for BECS support.
  • Act as primary contact with software vendor for software problems, updates, and documentation.
  • Additional duties as assigned .

We need someone who has:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Systems or Life Sciences. 
  • Minimum of three years’ work experience in Computer Support/Training.
  • MLS or MLT desirable, but not required.
