Are you looking for more than a job? We are hiring a Shipment Expeditor who is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to exceptional customer service and timely logistics execution.
The Shipment Expeditor is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and expediting incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure materials and products are received and delivered on schedule. This role requires strong communication with internal teams, carriers, and suppliers and frequent decision-making to resolve shipment exceptions and minimize delays.

Comply with all organizational policies and standards, including safety rules, and report actual or potential violations to the appropriate supervisor or manager.
In this role, you will:
Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments using the company’s logistics systems and carrier portals.
Communicate proactively with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to confirm schedules and resolve exceptions or delays.
Coordinate expedited transportation when required to meet critical timelines and minimize operational disruption.
Prepare and maintain accurate shipment documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and carrier confirmations.
Collaborate with receiving, inventory, and operations teams to prioritize and schedule deliveries.
Investigate and report shipment discrepancies, damages, or lost freight and coordinate claims processes as needed.
Maintain key performance metrics and provide regular status updates to management.
Assist with process improvements to increase on-time performance and reduce logistics costs.
Complete additional duties as assigned.
We need someone who has:
High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in shipping, expediting, or logistics coordination, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiarity with carrier systems, shipment tracking tools, and basic shipping documentation.
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Proven problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and experience with WMS/TMS or ERP systems a plus.
